Hi Guys,
I have just created a metal arris rail profile and am trying to insert it into a slightly sloped floor which i am using as a flat roof, i have tried this by selecting a slabe edge on floors however this does not work. I created the metal arris rail by modifying the metal angle family profile could this be why its not working due to the fact that its work plane co-ordinates are wrong?
Thanks for your help

It would be helpful if you included a picture. If the roof was a roof instead of a floor it would be easy to create the item you refer to arris rail by creating a gutter or fascia with the shape. As you are using a floor, you can do it with sweep blends, and reference planes. The attached is street work but the principle is the same.
