When tranfering some components (windows / doors) to a new Option desing, I get many error messages about interaction between those components and another walls next to it. Basically what the error message says is that I have to include that component too. Its strange because the components are not placed on that wall but somehow they interacts with it.
The problem is that if I include that new wall then I have to manually select all components on that new wall as well. Those new components have then new interactions with other components in the project and it is a never ending chain of reactions.
Any thoughts?

Not sure what you are asking. The rule on design options is that hasted opjects must reside in the same design option as their host. As an example a wall hosted door. To place that door in a wall, you need a host. If you already have a wall in that location, the wall (and any hosted objects it already hosts) must be moved to your option. NOTE: When you move an object to an option, you can move multiple copies of it to multiple options at the same time. So you could have a wall without the door in your main option and one in the same location with the dooor in another option. Just switch VG widows to show the different options.

Still some errors but copying objects between design options, works much better.
Actually, in theory I would rather copy the WHOLE project into a new design option. Do you know a good way to do that? I get massive error messages when I tried that!

You do not want the whole project in another option.....If you want that, do tow projects and use links.

try splitting the wall so that you can get away with just moving the portion hosting the door that you want to move into the design option. We have the same issue when doors are right up against an adjacent wall. Usually I have to disallow joining of the host and non host wall before I can move the host wall and door into the design option.
good luck. also, one trick i use is to set my cut plane above the door frames so that I can select the walls hosting cross-corridor doors instead of just the doors themselves.
