I need to put together a short presentation showing how Revit works with parametric family components; tons of people have done this sort of thing for creating tutorials. How do I do it? Thanks.

I just found a forum post from 2008 saying to use 'JING'. Is this still the way to go or is there something better now?

I use VideoSolo Screen Recorder to record my computer screen as I always need to make video tutorial. It does a great job and never lets me down.

Non-native screen recording software can be laggy. If you have Windows 10, there is a native screen capture software built in which is awesome.

Just hold your Windows button on your keyboard ( or CMD key if you use apple keyboard) and hit "G". It will ask if you want to open the Game Bar. Just tick the box. A control window will appear and all you need to do is hit the record button. It saves the video to your Windows Videos folder.
