We have a model that was performing quite well but then started crashing everytime we tried to move or manipulate section depths. When dragged for more depth the whole box moves away from the section mark. We believe this has occured due to our IT boys moving drives and then the deployment got stuffed around to an older build than the rest of the file was done in. The problem goes away if we upgrade to 2011 but rest of design team (Architect) is refusing to upgrade.

1. Does anyone know of this problem and possible fixes?

2. An easy work around for coordinating Structure 2011 to Arch 2010? We have suggested coordinating thruu Navisworks

do you have all of the updates installed?

are you reporting your crashes to autodesk?  not sure about 2010, but 2011 will alert you if your problem has been identified and addressed with an update.

you can of course look for the latest updates here:

navis works will work the best for 3d clash detection.

i think the .dwf viewer might be a possible solution too.  not sure, i don't use it that much.
