I'm working on fire and life safety plans (in Revit ARchitecute 2011) and need to show exit signs, which are ceiling/wall mounted well above the cut plane of the floor plan. I have underlayed the correct ceiling plan but I cannot figure out how to get the symbols for the exit signs to show up. I have gotten the exit sign model componant to show, but not the symbol. I've checked all detail levels (draft-fine) and also VG's but I can't seem to figure it out. Any suggestions?

Symbols are 2D (view dependent). If this symbol is embedded in your model element, you may have a problem.
