Is there a way to create a non-continuous wall sweep (a single-brick soldier course, for example) that repeats every 10 feet? It would be like a repeating detail, but as a wall model, so that the longer you make the wall, the more bricks there are (every 10 feet, of course).
I know about wall sweeps and reveals, but those are always continuous profiles that are swept along the entire length of the wall...how would you adjust these in elevation instead of sectional view of the wall?
Thanks.

If you put wall sweeps in the wall definition, they will be full length of wall.
You can place individual sweeps and adjut their length by grabbing the grip on the end.
You can have multiple walls in the same place ... not good for schedules but can make for some interesting modeling. Exmp. Base wall is all one finish - maybe block. Second wall is all brick but has full depth void sweeps leaving just horizontal bands. Now place segments of this second wall along the first and join them. All the doors / windows will cut both walls but you will have horizontal short segments of horizontal brick banding at fixed intervals.

Thanks for the interesting suggestion. I think it would be valuable if you could alter sweeps/reveals in elevation view when editing the structure of a wall...if that concept isn't fundamentally flawed, maybe it will show up in a future version.

You did not understand my answer. YOU CAN alter wall sweeps in elevation .....Please re-read my post if you don't understand.

No, I understand that you can alter them in a building elevation, but I'm talking about being able to edit them in elevation view while editing the wall structure under object properties.
Currently you can only edit a wall in plan or section, and in plan view, the wall/sweeps option becomes grayed out, which makes sense. But I think it would be helpful to have an elevation view possible while editing the structure where the ONLY thing you can edit are sweeps/reveals so you could change their width/repeatability THERE instead of having to do it for each stretch of wall in the actual model. Then it would act like a repeating detail that is tied to the wall type, no?
