My project has a number of concrete columns already modelled, when I edit family and update to suit and load back into my project the revisions are not coming through? Only way I can get to update is by deleting all my columns, purging and then re-inserting family.
Changes are listed below; material changed to concrete (from precast) and premeter chamfer added to top of column (controlled by VG i.e. coarse doesn't show chamfer, medium & fine does).
Any ideas

When you edit a family by picking it in the project, then while still in the family editor, loading it back in, you are given two choices. First choice is to over-ride the model, second choice is to also over-ride the parameters. Are you choosing that?
