Hey, I can't for the life of me figure out how to create a curved sweep - see image attached. I need to sweep the profile seen in the image (1/4 circle) around the front edge of the arch......help??

You can select the corners of a mass to model a sweep.

So make a mass that has your shape in it and then make a sweep with pick path.

No image, however create a work plane and name it at or near your arch. If you name the work plane you can use the framing view and it will snap to the work plane. Also draw a section perpendicular to the work plane you will need this later to draw the profile of the detail for the arch. Then in the view normal to the work plane Home, Component, Model in Place select sweep. Create the path of the sweep. Following your arch. Then finish the path but not the sweep, go to the section you created earlier draw profile, and finish sweep. Note that the section will need to be looking at the halfway point of the path.

Hey there.  For sweeps, you can "pick path" instead of drawing a path.  Any 3D edge will work.  It's very, very simple, and looks great.

pic attached, and related.
