I created a model and exported it to a RSS file.  The engineer did some work to it and I tried loading it back in and its exactly 646 below mine.  How do I get it to match back up?

In elevation select the entire, project and raise it back up to the original level, 646 feet I guess.

That would work but I am usring shared cordinates with the arch model.  There is an option in the exporting to Ram of offestting during export and importing, but no matter what values I put in there it doesnt change a thing.  The engineers model comes in the exact same spot, 646 feet below mine.  Revit being as smart as it is, then stretches the columns to make up the difference.

Sweet, seems like this is something you need to talk to the ram supplier about. Perhaps something in there model interpretation and transfer doesn't take into account actual elevations and so it shifts everything to 0 level. In order for this to work maybe you need to shift your model to the same 0 elevation until the engineering process is complete.

I just talked to Bentley, who makes Ram, and was told if your using shared coordinates with the arch model it wont work.  Revit needs to own the coordinates.

Seems pretty pointless since just about every structural model I do is shared with architects model.
