Hello all,

New to this Forum, Appreciate any assistance.

I can't figure out why a level view that cuts through the toposurface shows blank spots where there are pads in the levels above.

Using Revit Architecture 2011.

Help please!!!

Pads cut topography.  If the pad is above the topo, then there will be a hole.

Thanx,

Yeah, I get that. Is there anyway to make it appear filled? it looks funny in the level plan. I don't get the logic behind it.

If you are not going to cut your topography, then maybe it should not be a PAD.

Should this be a filled area?

Maybe I'm not explaining myself correctly... I do cut the topography with pads, but I have many levels, and I don't want to see the

blank space that the pads leave in the plan views of levels that are below these pads . I just want to see filled earth, because there

is no reason to see them in the plan views that are under tham...

Also, for some reason, one of these above pads does not leave the blank spot, eventhough it is defined correctly and cuts the topo.

I see now.  Have you ever used plan regions?  You can use that to show the topography all the way, or simply use a filled region.
