I am working on drawing a shopping center and need help witht the front of the building. I am trying to draw the overhang on the front of the building. I want there to be colums and then a complete wall on top of them. How can I cut holes in the walls to form my columns, and still have my whole wall up top? I know how to cut holes for doors and curtian walls, but just not open space.
Thanks

A wall is a wall and colums are colums. Set the bottom of your wall to be where it should be...top of your columns and add columns where you want those.
Now... if you want holes in your walls and not columns, then edit the profile of your wall in elevation view. Read "Editing the Profile of a Wall" in your HELP.
