As you know, I may set up the low poly scene in revit and export it to max to make some details. And sometimes I wanna modify mass object which used to be family object in revit.I just wanna know if there is any way to transfer family type in revit to instance type in max.

You mean, you want to create stuff like furniture in revit, and then export it to max, and then check if you can do some adjustments?
You could export those furniture as a separate file via fbx format, and instance them INSIDE max (with some plugins or with mrscatter or vrscatter).
On the other hand, if you need complex curtain walls exported into revit, then you need to export into max (link manager), reassign some materials, and clean up some mesh with too high polycount.

That's right. But the problem is that I find it's easy to set up the architecture scene in revit rather than in max cuz you could view objects by levels and place them accurately.
As I have already set up the major scene in revit . I wanna continue my work in max with the ablity to tweak mass object derive from family in revit .
And I heard that fbx has already support instance export. So I Just wanna know if there is anyway to set up workflow like this.
