I am trying to make a roof extrusion that I can rotate. I need the ends of the extrusion to stay parallel and plumb. Can some one help. Thanks

If you look at a roof from a side view. I want to change the pitch of the roof and have the ridge and the eave stay plumb.

For a single slope shed roof, which is what you are describing, simply do a roof by footprint. Use a roof with a plumb cut (rafter cut) - draw a rectangle and set one side (line that defines the bottom edge) as defines slope and set the slope. Done.
