HI,
I have seen this question before but not sure if there is an answer for it in newer versions...
I have a large multistorey carpark and need to number the bays with a parking tag. Is there an easier way to do this than selecting each individual carbay and changing it's mark one by one. There are over 1500 bays and that equals a lot of time.
Thanks

You might find an add-on that will allow this but nothing in native Revit.

I know this question is more than a year old but i feel like i should add something about this topic:
I too was currently searching for a way to tag car bays. More importantly if i was to remove a bay the tags would automatically update. Would be very helpful.
So from what i found - after googling this question - is that Revit doesn't offer a tag for parking Bays (as off 2013 Reivt). So you have to kinda cheat.
You have too change the family type to something you can tag ie: a door, a window, etc
Simple steps:
- Open your Parking Family, save as
- Under 'Properties' click on 'Family Category and Parameters'
- Change to 'Doors'
- Save and load into project.
- Place your new parking bay - remember to place in the sequence you want the numbers!
- From Annotate Tab, click 'Tag All' and choose the door tag (if none available, stop command & load one)
CONS:
- Revit no longer recognizes it as a Parking Element. So you'll have to remember that for scheduling.
- If you have existing doors it will tag them with the doors (or windows or whatever you chose)
- You have to place the parking bays in the number sequence order, otherwise the numbering will be as you placed them.
- If you delete a bay the numbers will NOT update (unless you have the plugin for re-numbering materials: http://revitfb.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/element-renumber-2012-free.html)
- To re-number you will have to manually select each bay and change the Mark.
So yeah, not sure if this is helpful but i just wanted to add this for the next person who is looking for the same solution as i was.
