Any ideas? I have looked everywhere. i have modified the ducting and connections to suit and I still get this error message.

I have gotten that message numerous times in fact if you are not in the direct north south east west axis, the connection never seem to work. What I do is to create a work plane for the particular piping or duct work in question and proceed there. If you name the workplane. Then the framing elevation will snap to it.
