Hello,
I've created a sectional perspective view and ghosted some elements to allw a deeper view into the building which looks great in the view, however when I render the view (Best @ 600 dpi) you can't see through the elements!!
Has anyone come across this problem before?
Many Thanks in advance for your help.

i dont think that the ghosted elements property applys to rendered elements.
would be nice, but i dont think its possible in RAC 2012.

My understanding was that it is now possible in 2012, which version are you using? In prior versions, if you attempt to render an invisible component, well it is invisible, and even if you turn it transparent, still doesn't show in rendering. I thought I remember this being one of the things they have fixed in 2012...

Thanks for your replies, I'm using 2012, I have since tried making the elements transparent which does work in rendered views so I guess your right Dafpfy that the ghosted surfaces don't.

Lol, awsome, chalk up another GRAND success story for Autodesk, Keep up the good work guys! They make all these check boxes, "rotate with component", "Ghost Surface", etc. BUT they don't bother to make sure it works! I tried to render ghost surfaces, etc. to get the effect you desired, and its a no go. They FAILED hard, and in my personal opinion fell flat on their faces. Everyone, please join me in celebrating that OUR futures are in the wonderful and capable hands of Autodesk!
