Hi, I am putting a tin roof on my house and for some reason the roof is offset and I can't fiqure out why. What I did was
·Created a roof
·Change the type to slope glazing
·Then I created a custom curtain wall using curtain wall panel.rft
·Loaded family (curtain wall )into my drawing
·Clicked on roof
·Edit type
·Construction
·Curtain panel value “custom curtain”
and well you can see the pics. It has a 4 1/2 offset and I can't find out why

This is not just a roof, it's a curtail wall panel? That's strange, but for corrugated roofing, I guess that can make sense.
My guess is that if you tab through, and select the -panel- itself, not the curtain system, you'll see that it has an offset in its properties. Typically, a panel should be centered in a curtain wall. So, select one of the planels, and look in properties, you might also go to "edit" type up there at the top of the properties box.

You might open up the panel family and see if it's drawn 4' 6" off center in that case

I just looked back at your first post to find that it is a glazed roof, note the base level from one view to the next.

Those warnings indicate that you have components which are cutting the roof you made, when you move it down, they need to go down too. If you selected them, and the roof, and moved all as one, you should be good to go. The tough part is getting them all. To fascilitate this, turn your roof into a group, and as you find an object, add it to that group, until finally your able to move it down, once you have it in place, ungroup and purge.
Hope it works

Thanks for everyones help. That part is fixed. I had deleted the roof several times and tried to create it again and that didn't work. This time I went in the project browser and deleted my custom curtain. It said removing 66 instance of it. So I reloaded it and it was flat on the wall. yeah!!!!
But, and there is all a but. It's still too long at the top. Weird looking.
