If I cut an object then I want to paste it in the same location it shows in red but I have to line up the object and paste. Isn't there a way to paste the object as shown? I tried the ESC key but that doesn't work.

I've the same symptoms when I have a shortcut setup for the "paste to current view". It will paste into the correct position in the view but will highlight the pasted objects and go into an edit mode to located them at a user selected base point. How can I accept the original location? Thanks.
