I am trying to print my wall section and when I do the text leaders end up all over the place. When I view the sheet on the screen every thing looks good but when I print they get messed up. I am printing as a pdf. I have attached the messed up sheet for reference. I am using Revit Architecture 2011
Thanks in advance

Honestly never seen this before. Try an alternative printing method, do you still get the same result? I'd place my bet on your PDF version... perhaps try updating to the latest... make sure your on the latest service pack (SP2 for 2011 I think).
Quick thought... Where are your annotations? On the sheet or in the view (view is the correct answer BTW)?

beautiful drafting i love that..
i think that's why it's a good idea to reinstall
revit occasionally.. the program just dropped
some ones and zeros i guess.. i hope you are
constantly hitting that save command- to a drive
other than your system drive..

i agree with thetabest, i have never see this too. Also i guess this is what happens when you post examples of your work. i would just like to point out a couple of things.
1. You show your 2x6 bottom plate resting on top on the rim joist and 2x10 joist. i think the 3/4" T&G plywood decking should cover these two items and the 2x6 bottom plate should rest on the decking.
2. You might want to show a keyway at the 10" foundation wall and conc. pad footing. But i'm not not sure if that standard is practiced anymore.

I will try and print it via a different method and see what happens. I have seen it on the screen to but when I deleted all the leaders and re did them the problem disappeared on screen. The notes were placed in the view and not on the sheet. I will keep working on it.
Yes indeed the bottom plate belongs on top of the plywood I caught that when I was checking the drawing last night. As for the key way, it is still done when the wall has no reinforcing in it but it can also be done with rebar bent at 90 deg. then placed in the footing at regular intervals.

You say you are printing as a PDF. I don't believe this is a REVIT issue. Find another PDF driver. Try CUTEPDF - it is available free on-line.

Thank you all for your input. I have figured it out. I tried to print it on another printer first and that did not work.
From what I am seeing the leaders were to long and got screwed up when I tried to print them. I dont know why this happened but it did. I moved the text closer to the wall section and shortenend the leaders and they now print fine.
