Revit 2011
We're starting a new project. It's a housing project with 4 different buildings each with 5 or 6 floors. Due to file size (which has caused problems in the past), my first thought is to have each building in it's own project with a master project for sheets and annotations. Sounds like a lot of juggling back and forth between building and master files. OR am I looking at this all wrong, should it all be in the same project? Thoughts?

I work for a modular building contractor. We detail each module in seperate files and then link them into one master file and put them together. As long as each file is purged, we don't encounter any lagging. I image if you model everything in the same file, things would get complicated since you'll have levels and grids everywhere.

i'll just take a wild guess at this one..
no reason i can imagine to make one project
more than one project.. many projects are much
larger than what is described here.. if there is
too many annotation elements in one view- just
create more views.. isn't that what they did in
the dark ages with CAD? create layers? i don't
know..
