Hiya,
The firm I am working for in Australia is looking for Revit users.
We have lots of projects and need to build skilled teams.
We are seeking staff worldwide to join us in Perth, Western Australia.
Our climate is Mediterranean, our lifestyle is outdoor and we are very friendly.

I've got to say that sounds pretty tempting, haha. Moving to Australia would be a big shock, from Alaska. I wonder if I'm qualified enough... all my skills grew with the company I'm currently at, so there's no easy measure.

Hey robinballew,
When I started back in September 2010, they gave me a great relocation allowance as part of the employment package The amount is based on each applicants experience. I used it on plane tickets, shifting all my belongings via container and setup costs eg rent, food etc.

Send me some information.. I have a family so it might be complex but I have been using Revit for 10 years v1.8 and a BIM manager / Trainier for 4 years. Sounds like a great place..

Hi Itsmyalterego,
Perth is very tempting let me tell you. It has a lovely mediterranean climate and a relaxed outdoor lifestyle.
The current recuitment drive is to get staff skilled in Revit and construction. Construction here is a little simpler than colder climates - we use less insulation and less barriers to keep the cold out. It would be a bonus if you were familiar with Healthcare projects but it is not essential.
The only measure to see if you are suitable is through discussion, such as emails, forwarding of references/cv's, skype conversations and phone interviews.

Nice. I am visiting Perth mid June for 2 weeks. Am from Auckland and have family in Perth. I am a Revit Structural specialist with an Architectural degree and broad experience on the software including generating customized content.
