·          Does anybody know if it is possible to print a 3D image from a revit file. I am interested in producing a competition entry that is entirely rendered in 3d,

·          I am aware that the client will need to wear 3d glasses as I wont have a 'depth' to the page

No, I don't see anyway you can produce this image, that would take different software.

you need to find the software that produces that type of image and see what is the required file format or if there are any plug-ins.

I think it is possible to get that effect with photoshop. Look into it.
