Ok, I have spent 3 days searching for this info and can't find it. I intuitively feel like it can be done, but... Here is the objective
We want to create a floor plan where we are identifying the individuals in cubes, phone extensions, space number. I have got it all to work utilizing visability parameters so that there are three options in the family. So far so good.
One additional thing that we would like to show is a heart graphic, to indicate those people that are First Aid trained. This should (from what I understand) pull it's visibility from a shared parameter in the room data.
For some reason, I can't get it to work. I would prefer not to have a second tag on the room as I would put it on all rooms the same as the room tag.
Let me know if this I wasn't clear.
Thanks for your help.

Your best method will be to create rooms for these cubes using room seperation lines. Phone extensions, names and space numbers can all be in the room data and scheduled or tagged. Not sure about this but I would think the graphic can be set with a visibility parameter also assigned to the room.

WW,
Yup, I have all that part solved as I described. It is just down to the graphic and I can't get it to work with a room parameter. I don't want the visibility of the graphic to be controlled by the tag family, I need it to be controlled by the parameter for the room.
Hope this helped clearify things.

I don't think you can do what you are asking. As far as I know there is no way to have the visibility of elements inside a tag family be controlled by parameters outside of the family.
ETA:
In looking at this I found that you can add a Yes/No shared parameter in a label, and then inside the project when you check/uncheck that shared parameter in the room properties the label will read Yes or No. So while you won't be able to have your heart graphic like you were looking for you could have a tag that reads 'First Aid Trained: Yes/No', and it would be controlled by the room and not the tag.

I have got the similar problem and i would like to control visibility of a symbole with room parameters.
Have attached a screenshot.
Thanks
