HI, we where aving new custom material rendering black... removing the acent on the name was the anser :

Bois toréfié, the É was the problème Revit change it fo @...

after renaming it, everiting work find.

the forum help me for so many thing, but not for this one, hoping, this will help other.

Sorry for my english...as you can imagine with the ''é'' i speak french.

I don't thing the "É" is the problem like you can see in my attached images.

i ad read this post, and try...but ..not working, maybe is't just the font , or someting else... but it's realy, wen we supress the É for E, and now is't perfecly work.

and this is not were the é was, in your attach images, the É was in the name where your matérial is name ''xitose_2''

we take à picture of my house extérior sidind, and we name it ''bois toréfié''

I think it is good that you point out that language might be a problem here.  I suggest that you report this problem directly to AutoDESK.
