I am creating a project that will have 9 small buildings comprising one entire project. Am I better off creating seperate project files for each building and then linking into a "master project file" or should I create one project file and use diffrent views for the diffrent plans, elevations, sections ect. for each building? The details of the building will all be the same, so I am struggleing with how to set up the project and make everything work together.

If possible keep the building in 1 file, max. around 30.000 m2 depending on complexity from my experience.

With separate files you will have to load every family into each file, every time you make changes.

I used a lot of visibility overrides to get the linked solution to work, i prefer to have a single heavy file. I use linked files for furniture, site or perhaps a special component such as the curtainwall of a big glass building.
