How does one get the electrical familiy that is placed inside my dishwasher family to show up when i place that same dishwasher family in to my break room group? 

I can place electrical families in my group and those show up so i know the layer is not turned off or something easy like that. 

I would have thought it was something to do with checking the 'Shared' box while in the family category and parameters while in my dishwasher family but it wasn't.

Any ideas?
