I nedd to trim the edges of this coutertop and I cannot do it. Need some help please. My walls are angled and I am just trying to get the countertops to match without overlapping like they are now I have revit 2010. Any advice will be much appreciated.

create a countertop with the "generic line based". After you finished load into proyect, onmodify hit join and select the countertops. After you finish go back to the family editor, and change there the category, on the properties tab ( to from generic to furniture).

Put the sink onthe top of it, as a separate family, if you put it inside the same family you cannot join thefamilies.

Feel free to use that family... you have to parametrize, and add proper dimensioning... was just a test :S hope it helps

how do i upgrade this so I can open in my version of revit. It says family was created in earlier version of revit and cannot be retrieved.

ouch... revit has no option to downgrade a version of any file
