I have been searching through forums left and right now trying to figure out a good way to modify the walls I already have in my project. I want to apply a pattern to the exterior of my wall to create the effect of a vertical tri tone stripe set that is of varying widths per panel (stripe). I would try to just mass the panels but as it is only a school studio project it needs to only be an applied pattern. Also, massing it as I have tried is becoming a pain due to the fact that the wall is curved. I also tried using a .jpeg file of the pattern I want but everytime I try to apply it Revit completely crashes. If someone knows a quick way of creating a wall type/family that I could simple create to apply this patter to multiple walls that would be great. Below is a picture of a plan from the project so you can see the general curve I am working with and the other is the pattern I want to be applied to the exterior walls

You need to pay attention to the file size of your attachments. 2mb limit!

How are the various width of each strip determined? Random, Set per color? Can the pattern be repeating?

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

I selected the wrong file to attach on accident.
The pattern can however be random and repeat with maybe 2 sets or so. That way its not so obvious that it repeats and also the the addition of windows will break it up that way
