Can someone tell me how to create a facade like this in revit I was going to do it in rhino but I know there is a  wau to so it in revit whether its editing your wall profile drawing this and then putting a curtain wall behind it?...Any other suggestions

I would do it as an in-place family. If you want glass in the "void"areas, just add a glass solid rectangle as part of the family.

If the goal is to be rendered, I would make a material map with cutouts. This will achieve exactly what you have shown in render but not in shaded views.

 

If you need the geometry to be like this, you may want to head over to buildz.blospot.com and learn a lil about adaptive components to try to make this process a bit faster than the in-place comopnent method.

I agree with Carl to go with adaptive Component with conceptual mass method.

It will be a much more flexible way to deal with if you decided to change your design later.

But the catch is to understand how adaptive component works first so you will know how to make one for yourself.
