There have been times that I would like to make a floor plan in Revit MEP into a ceiling plan. When I change the underlay orientation from plan to Reflected Ceiling it changes the view but it wont allow me to change the System Family from Floor plan to Ceiling plan.
Why is that?
Just wondering,

Typically one dosen't make a floor plan into a ceiling plan, but you create a ceiling plan for a floor plan if one dosen't exist. Revit just has some unbending rules/procedures about System Families that have to be followed.
