hi,
i created a column family which consist of bigger size on the lower portion of the column, for some reason and i do not understand the portion of the bigger size is still showing on all plan, even on the roof which is suppose not to be seen on that level, view range is ok (it does not cut on that portion where the bigger size)
please see attachement
please help me what am i missing? the lower portion which is wider is keep showing even it is on the upper level

Do you want the bottom portion of the column not to show at all?
if that's the case, go the family editor, select the bottom portion and click visibility settings, Un-check the box "when cut in plan/RCP" and reload the family to the project
