Hi there Revit fans!
We are working in RAC 2011. The only way we have been able to set/customize import and export line weights is individually on each machine, even though our license runs through the network.
Is there an easier (read as less time consuming and 'automatic') way to do this? It seems odd to me the settings couldn't be made somewhere and be universal to our network.
Any thoughts or help is always greatly appreciated!!!

well, these settings should be for a project, not the machine... Revit itself doesn't store the line weights.
what you'll want to do is have a template file that all projects are started from, with some standards in that template file. ALSO, after the fact, you can adopt settings from another project file. Under the "manage" tab you can "Transfer Project Standards" from another open file with a click of a button. Browser organization, line weights, line styles, etc. all get transferred over. It's handy.
So if there's one project in the office that you want to use as a template in the absence of a real template, you can work that way to get some standardization going, based on your most organized project to date.
