An observation and a question....I've noticed in my own renderings and those in the gallery that glass does not seem to render the sky reflecting in glazing. Is there something I'm missing, or does Revit not cater for this??? Any ideas. Thanks PhillipM

glass does reflect the clouds, just make sure that your map is set up properly with reflection... Revit Accurender is not the best, in fact it's a cut down version! but you can still produce nice (the term "nice" is used loosely) renders, but you need to play with it a lot! Smile

You need to utilise a spherical or cylindrical background in order to have clouds etc reflected in the windows as well as having back face culling turned off.

"You need to utilise a spherical or cylindrical background in order to have clouds etc " I did it without, it is not as good, but does reflect...

I couldn't get it to work satisfactorily (I'm a perfectionist). I'm now playing with using an Internal rendering for an external view with Sun as the only light source. Much better rendering all round but the shadows are very dark (black). I've already posted this, but anyone know if the shadow colour can be over-ridden?
