Not sure why this is happening but i have wainscot in a wall structure on both sides of the wall and i am trying to unlock it in section but it will only allow me to unlock one side not both.  It gives me an adjacent warning if i try to unlock both sides?  What is going on.  Inversly i can unlock the structure and gwb and leave the wainscot both sides locked and it works but i cant do it the way i need it.  I would prefer to control the structure height and adjust the finishes not the other way around.

Look your HELP menu: http://docs.autodesk.com/REVIT/2011/ENU/filesUsersGuide/WSfacf1429558a55debd637aff4f2f7abe-7f7e.htm

look the "NOTE:"Unlocked layers must be adjacent. For example, you cannot have one layer locked and its adjacent layers unlocked."

I'm not sure but I believe in 2012 you can do what you want...
