Hey everyone !
I am pretty new at Revit and have been working on a simple model, here I have been adding some lighting fixtures, and it all worked for a bit, but then after a little while it stoped working, and now I get completly black images.. what should i do !?
I have turnd on all the interior lights, chosen "Interior: Artificial only" cause i just wanted to see the effect of the lights, but there was none.. And furthermore, I have tried to turn up and down the exposure, but still nothing?
HELP !?

verify that your lighting fixtures actually have a light source inside the family.

Hi, so what's the resolution to this problem? I have same issue - black images for interiors with artificial lights only, image is being rendered only when set to sun / sun and artificial. I checked lights are on and Dimmer set to 1.
Fo the light source I used the original Revit family M_Downlight - Recessed Can.rfa, I checked the light source is there. So where is the problem, why the image with artificial lights does not render and is black?
Btw, can anyone confirm or deny that the only way in Revit to see light glow is to put self illuminating material in the light fixture family?

After render change values in "Adjust exposure", this may correct the problem if not increase the "wattage / lumens" of those lights.
"can anyone confirm or deny that the only way in Revit to see light glow is to put self illuminating material in the light fixture family? " - In your family change the glass you have there, "glass clear" to "glass frost", this will produce the same effect you want.

Yes, it helped! It surprised me though that I had to increase wattage from 60W to 10,000W (!) in the incandescent lamp to make it work. Some lamps were also obstructed by structural geometry that was not visible from the outside so it was hard to realize at first. This could be a hint for others with troubleshooting similar problems.
For the glow, frosted glass shielding worked fine too.
Thanks a lot!
