I have searched around for the answer to this, but I keep seeing info about templates and transferring project standards, which doesn't exactly get at what I'm looking for. I have a file which contains numerous helpful families (3D toilets, lights, staircases, etc.) and I have another file which I am building from scratch and would like to use those families in. The problem is I don't have the families on my hard drive (in my Imperial Library, I guess). Is there a way to extract the families from the one file with them and save them to my library as .rfa files?...not just transferring project standards or copying, but actually saving them as files that I can use in future, unrelated projects? Help much appreciated. Thanks.

*I forgot to mention I'm using Revit 2010. OK, so I figured out a slow way of doing this; File>Save As>Library>Family and then selecting the family from a list. I also saw a link CADdaddy posted about a family extractor he made, but its only for 2011...does anyone know of something similar to that for 2010? Or just a faster way of getting all of the families out of a file? Thanks in advance for your help.
