...like it is on a projections screen.  I have tried the edit decal, and selected the luminance options and each one turns the image into too bright, almost washed out, appearance.  I have changed the brightness number up from the default "1" but that immediately makes it too bright.  I could continue to try every combination until one works but thought someone else here might have been there, done that, and could offer a suggestion.

Have you tried to edit the image file itself?

I have edited the decal.  I am not sure about how to edit the image itself.  Could you explain how?

Try photoshop or some other image editing program.

I normally use Paintshop Pro.  The image is bright just like I would want it when inserted into Paintshop Pro.  When I render it as a decal, it is dull with washed out colors.  When I change the luminence of the decal to several of the options they all wash it out almost completely.  I don't know of a way to make the image render with more luminescence in Paintshop Pro.
