I am using Revit MEP 2011 with an Architectural file linked in. The problem I am having and I have asked Tech support at PacifiCad and they are at a loss. I place Families in my drawing at the proper height and location. then when I get an updated Architectural file I am getting a huge error report for orphaned Families and Fixtures. I have ran part of this down to the Architect changing wall or ceiling types or having deleted and redrawn those host. But one I am getting and can not find out what is going on is I am getting some of my fixtures that are now "non-associated" and/or at negative heights (ie below grade). I have spent hours rehosting and searching for these non-associated families. Can anyone tell me what is going on? And if so how can I keep from losing hosting and also stop this non-associated Families as these do not show up in the error report and have to be found and rehosted one item at a time. Thank You in advacne for your help. All of you have been great with your suggestions and help.

Are you relinking the architectural file instead of just re-loading it?
