i'm completely new to revit and am setting up a window family. is there a way to have one family with different mullion/lite options for each window? i have set up the family with lites that are 3 wide by 3 high, but i'd like to be able to select different lite configurations for each frame instead of having to set up another family with identical frames and different lite configurations....thanks in advance for any help.

Yes but requires advanced knowledge of family creation. Checkout the Pella windows and Anderson windows - i believe these do some of this. Basically you'll need to use nested families/arrays and possibly family type parameters. But can't be sure without fully understanding the various combination you wish to show...

The Anderson windows available in the family explorer here look nice at first, but what happens to the mullions if they're inserted into a thick wall? I placed Anderson_Csmt_Trpl_CR35-3CW155-3 into a basic brick on CMU wall and find the mullions grow to deep fins. What can I do to correct this?

I'm not sure whether they are the latest version... Check out the ones on the AUGI exchange.... www.augi.com
