Is it possible to have the beams along a grid move with the grid and have the joists in the adjacent bays shorten and lengthen as needed to maintain their original relationship? I have several grids that have changed after review, and while the columns have a "move with grids" checkbox in the properties and automatically adjust, the beams and joists are left where they were. It seems like there would be some parameter for tying those together so I don't have to manually move all of these beams a few inches, then manually shorten half the joists a few inches and manually lengthen the other half. What am I missing?

Just align and lock the beams to the grid lines.

The joists should adapt if the beam moves depending on how you placed the joists.

Using a beam system would help but not required.
