I am trying to cut a brick reveal right down the wall base so that the downspout can course into the masonry.  The base sweeps are created in the wall type and are checked "cuttable." 

I tried creating an in-place void extrusion under the wall category to cut it like I would any other wall type.  When I tell it to cut it just calculates for a while and does not cut anything. Weird.  Also tried using a wall reveal.  The reveal will cut the brick on the face of the wall, but not any of the profiles that have been set up in the section of the wal type.

Any help or just a comment would be awesome!

I would create a generic face based family with void cutting thru the host(face)
