hey guys, this is driving me absolutly insane.... i want to use use filled region to highlight one unit outta 20 of them in complex on site plan and location plan...kinda highlight the footprint...i still want to c the footprint lines with basick walls outline in there...and have the hatch as light gray... the problem is watever i do...its either coming up solid black...(set on black lines in printing) or if i select colour or grayscale, it will comeout in colour, which workes then...but all walls ptint colour as well as everithing else...and on top of it all even though is set on transparent...cant c curse tru it....ne advice...

Have you tried changing the colour "solid black" to a light greyish colour in the element properties for that particular filled region?
I have attached an image for your benefit
