I have a family that has transparent glass to cover seating in an auditorium. And it looks great in 3D view with the realistic setting except that where it is cut by the section box it is solid gray and opaque. What setting am I missing. Thanks. I am using Revit MEP 2011

hmmm. well, i've never used revit mep ever, but im pretty sure a lot of these visibility settings are the same have you tried hitting VG (visibility graphics override) and checking to make sure that the cut pattern isn't set to something different for the glass? what kind of an element do you have the glass modeled as?

The glass is in a specialty equipment family. I have tried changing the cut pattern in the materials box as well as the VG box.

ah i see. well, the only other thing that comes to mind is maybe there is a construction phase graphics override. but i doubt it... sorry i couldnt help more
