in Revit 2009, how do I modify the glass opacity? The glass is too clear, and I want to render it more sloid, like blinds are behind the glass, so I can see more of the glass color, like blue / green, or blue, but the glass is too clear, and I am not seeing the color in my renderings

 thanks

Opacity is in the material settings.   You might think about having mutiple glass types in your project and assign accordingly

I hav eread a bunch of threads regarding this issue, but whenI go to the material dialoge box for my glass, and go to the rendered apperance tab, the only opptions I have avalable to me ar ethe following:

Settings/Materials/Glass (Material Class)/Glass (Actual Material Name)

Rendered Apperance:

Solid Glass Properties:

1. Color (transmittance)

2. Reflectance

3. Index of Refraction

4. Roughness

5. Bump Pattern

Thats all I have access to, I still do not knwo where to find Opacity?

For shaded views see the first image - for rendered glass, look at the second image.  NOTE:  These settings are not available on all default glass materials>

It seems I have answered my own question as it seems there is an important toggle under material editor.

Graphics allows transparency

Appearance allows  reflectance
