let's have a simple cut\fill example

toposurface 100*100 feets

building pad 50*50 feets  with 1 feet thickness and 1 feet depth

the claculaion should be

50*50*2= 5000 cf  piece of cake

but the result in revit is 5001.31

and i did another one using metric units and the get up to 5% less than the right result

am i doning someting wrong
