Hello all,

Lets start by saying that I did a forum search and still can not figure this label out.

I have a very large project and I want a tag that will take the Area divide it by the occupant load factor, which rounds up and gives me the occupant load. I have searched and searched and have only been able to peice together different threads. Does anyone know how to do this step by step so I can create the tag I need? I have been working on this for the past 2 hours and am at a standstill. Please, any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, tags will not calculate.  You need to do this in a schedule.

I created an occupant load schedule that references a occupancy types Key schdule which has the load factor info from the IBC. the schedule shows rooms and you pick the occupancy type for the room (B, I, E, etc) create a parameter that divides the area by the load factor. This info cannot be in a tag so I created another parameter that can and manually enter that number so it matches the calculated number.

clear as mud right?
