Has anyone been succesful in easily creating macros for RST2011. I would like to do some very simple ones, but get confused just starting. I have done macros in a few programs, so was not expecting such confusion. I would like to create that can go into Visibility Graphics and make changes to my view. . .or multiple views. For example, hide reference planes, or show windows. That type of thing. Any thoughts? Greg

To articulate WWHubs post a little further. You can set up the view to look how you want it to, save it as a new view template, and apply the template to multiple views. You can also use scope boxes to define the extents of reference planes, grids, levels, and so forth. So, if you have reference planes which you are only using for a foundation plan, you can create a scope box to capture those reference planes, so that they only appear within a certain bounding box.

So far, I have not found any needs for macros so we don't use any. And, if you search the forums, you will only find a few questions regarding them but they may help you.
