Is there a way to clean up rafter joins from beam systems? If you look at the images attached I am trying to get a clean trim at the rafter intersections. Can anyone help me with this? I feel like I am missing something.

the only way i've gotten this to look right is by creating reference planes on each face of the diagonal member and then individually cutting the joing members using "cut geometry".

Sorry as this is not a solution but a question, what tool are you making your rafters with?
