My Main work is extensions to houses. I have been getting to grips with conceptual mass but am rackng my brain as to where I could use this in my daily work. Any ideas anyone?

Hey Mark,

 

Having done just about every type of project known to man in Revit I would say for your type of work Conceptual Massing would have limited funtion. Maybe for space planning you could use it to mass up the existing building quickly and then define the new construction areas. Project Vasari that Typhoon linked you too can also do a little energy and solar radiation analysis too if you're interested. If you are running low budget additions though these are all probably tools you can just skip.
