I've been using revit for almost a decade now. I know the ins and outs of this program. And I'm really baffled this time. I have two machines running Revit 2011. On one machine I made a model and rendered it in draft qualtiy to get all the tweaks worked out before I created a final rendering. The draft renderings were perfect. After I was all done editing, I opened it on the other computer and began rendering and all the walls, ceilings and decals appear to be invisible. (See attached image). I tried re-opening the file on the other computer and render, and again it was rendering fine on the first computer. I have installed the latest service pack and updates. I have ckecked to make sure the location of the decals can be found. I have changed the properties of the walls hoping it was just a fluke, but all of this was to no avail. A couple of days ago, I got a weird error on the second computer about the fact that the visual drivers were being used elsewhere and couldn't be used at the same time. I didn't know what it meant and it's never come back. But all of my problems have started since then. The only thing I can think of is that the first computer is a 32-bit machine and the second is a 64-bit machine. However, the renderings used to work just fine. This problem just started two days ago. Any ideas? Thanks!

I wonder if it could be the material libraries. Are the located on a central server or does each machine have its own? Maybe the wall material definitions have the same name but different settings on the 2 computers. Just a guess I haven't done any rendering work since they changed the rendering engine in Revit.

That's a really good point, and I did think of that. They are sharing the same library and even so, it was working just fine until Monday when I got that weird Visual error (and I'm sorry, I don't remember what the error was, because it never returned after that!)
